One of such places is Mettam’s pool. This is a very special beach, perhaps the best in the region. With its snorkelling temptations, it attracts enough adventurers year in year out. This beach is highly rated and the local are proud of it. Considering its features, there is actually no reason as to why they should not feel this way.
Mettam’s Pool is a marvel of nature. This rocky pool is surrounded by a reef, which provides a majestic view in the summer, which is approaching now. Mettam’s Pool is also very easy to reach with no problems regarding transportation as its not very far from Perth City. Its proximity to the Hillary’s Boat harbour too has contributed to attracting traffic to the region. The place boasts of a very nice crowd with regular hi’s and hello’s among the strangers. There are eating stalls not very far from the pool, which allows you to take care of your belly. You can stay all day at the place without feeling dull even for a moment.
There are some problems, however, when it comes to parking, which is a direct result of how good the place actually is. The weekends see so many visitors that the parking becomes overcrowded. You can take care of that issue by planning in ample time.
The winters, though, are not that much friendlier on the Mettam’s Pool as high waves keep on coming and it’s quite risk to snorkel in these times. But the adventurers use this opportunity for surfing on the high waves. The area is well protected from the strong winds and provides for a safe yet chilling surfing experience.
